Tip:What are the technical characteristics of high frequency pulsed argon tungsten arc welding
The frequency range of the current is 10~ 20kHz. The process characteristics of this method are as follows.
① Suitable for high-speed welding
High frequency pulse arc has large electromagnetic contraction effect and good arc rigidity. The bending or discontinuity phenomenon caused by the adhesion of anodic spots can be avoided in high speed welding. Avoid defects such as edge biting and back forming. Therefore, it is especially suitable for high-speed automatic welding of thin plates.
② deep penetration
The power of arc penetration increases significantly due to high arc pressure and high energy density.
③ Good weld quality
The fluidity of molten pool is increased by ultrasonic vibration, and the physical metallurgical properties of welding are improved, which is conducive to the improvement of weld quality.
④ Suitable for large groove welds
In DC argon tungsten arc welding, if there are many filler wires, the fusion between the weld pool and the groove side is bad, and the weld pass is raised and tilted to one side. When welding the next pass, the poor melting on both sides of the pass is easy to lead to poor fusion or incomplete welding, and the high frequency pulse argon tungsten arc welding can overcome this defect.
