Tip:What is a high-pressure welder? What are the differences between high-pressure welders and low-pressure welders?
High pressure welder refers to a welder who meets the welding requirements for pressure welds. Usually it is a pressure vessel welder, pressure pipeline (argon arc welding) (downward welding) welder, etc. High pressure welders have always been one of the highest technical requirements in the welding industry due to their high welding requirements, high operational difficulty, and strict construction welding supervision.
High pressure welders are generally divided into two categories: pressure vessel welders and long-distance pipeline welders.
Pressure vessel welders refer to those engaged in pressure pipeline welding (argon arc welding), including manual arc welding, argon arc welding, etc. according to the process pipeline welding.
Long distance pipeline welding welders (Luoyang Jili Welding Technology Co., Ltd. Long distance pipeline welding welders) are divided into cellulose downward welding welders, flux core self-protection downward welding welders, and STT RND welders, etc.
At the same time, tungsten inert gas arc welding is also a type of high-pressure welding, mainly using high-frequency high-voltage arc ignition method or pulse arc ignition method. Both methods involve placing the tungsten electrode close to the workpiece, but without contact, leaving a gap of 2-5mm between them. The voltage of both methods is very high, reaching 2000-3000V.
When starting an arc, high voltage is used to break through the space between the electrode and the workpiece, forming a spark discharge. Under the action of high voltage, a strong electric field is formed in the arc space, which strengthens the ionization effect of the cathode emitting electrons and the arc space, causing the arc space to quickly transition from spark discharge or glow discharge to arc discharge.
Due to the high temperature generated during arc discharge, arc discharge can be maintained under low voltage conditions. This completes the arc ignition process. High voltage is required to break through the arc space during arc ignition, and high-frequency or pulse voltage is used for safety.
The difference between high-pressure welders and low-pressure welders
1、 Different referents
1. High pressure welder: a welder who can weld welds that meet the national standard for non-destructive testing and take qualified photos.
2. Low pressure welder: refers to an ordinary welder who uses appropriate welding methods, reasonable welding processes, appropriate welding equipment, and uses fillers of the same or different materials as the base material, or even does not use fillers, to tightly connect metal or non-metallic workpieces by heating or pressurizing or both.
2、 Different characteristics
1. High pressure welder: Due to the high requirements and difficulty of welding operations, as well as strict supervision of construction welding, it has always been one of the highest technical requirements and the highest paying job types in the welding industry.
2. Low pressure welder: selection of welding position (flat welding, vertical welding, horizontal welding, overhead welding) and welding process parameters (welding current, arc voltage, welding polarity, welding speed, etc.), weld seam layout and welding component structure, gas welding process and cutting process, gas welding and cutting of commonly used metal materials, principle of argon arc welding, equipment use and welding technology.
3、 Different homework requirements
1. High pressure welder: Pressure pipeline welder (argon arc welding), according to the process, for pressure pipelines and long-distance pipelines. Welding methods include manual arc welding, argon arc welding, semi-automatic downward welding with flux core, gas shielded welding, cellulose downward welding, automatic pipeline welding, and so on.
2. Low pressure welder: Follow the MCG process standards for operation; Conduct quality inspection on input components to ensure the quality of output assemblies or sub assemblies
