(1) Wire feeding: internal wire filling and external wire filling.
The outer filling wire can be used for bottling and filling, is to use a larger current, the wire head in the front of the groove, the left hand pinch the wire, and constantly sent into the weld pool for welding, the groove gap requirements are small or no gap.

Because of its large current and small gap, it has high production efficiency and easy to master operation skills. Its disadvantage is that it is used for the base because the operator can not see the blunt edge melting and the reverse side of the high situation, so it is easy to produce non-fusion and not ideal reverse forming.

The inner filling wire can only be used for bottom welding, is to use the left thumb, index finger or middle finger with wire feeding action, little finger and ring finger grip the welding wire control direction, the welding wire is close to the blunt edge of the inside of the groove, and the blunt edge is melted together for welding, requiring the groove gap greater than the diameter of the welding wire, is the plate can bend the welding wire into an arc.

Because the welding wire is on the opposite side of the groove, the melting of the blunt edge and the welding wire can be clearly seen, and the peripheral light of the eye can also see the reverse residual height, so the weld is fused well, and the reverse residual height and non-fusion can be well controlled. The disadvantage is that the operation is difficult, requiring the welder to have more skilled operating skills, because the gap is large, so the welding amount has a corresponding increase, the gap is large, so the current is low, and the work efficiency is slower than the external filling wire.

(2) Welding handle, divided into shake handle and mop.
The crank is to press the welding nozzle slightly hard on the welding seam, and the arm is greatly shaken to weld. Because the welding nozzle is pressed on the weld, the welding handle is very stable in the operation process, so the weld is well protected, the quality is good, the appearance is very beautiful, the product pass rate is high, especially the welding is very convenient, and the welding stainless steel can get a very beautiful appearance color. Its disadvantage is that it is difficult to learn, because the arm shaking amplitude is large, so it can not be welded at the obstacle.

The mop is the welding tip lightly on or not on the weld, the right little finger or ring finger is also on or not on the workpiece, the arm swing is small, dragging the welding handle for welding. Its advantage is that it is easy to learn, good adaptability, its disadvantage is that the shape and quality are not good, especially the upward welding is not easy to weld, and it is difficult to get the ideal color and shape when welding stainless steel.

(3) Starting arc: Arc starter is generally used (high frequency oscillator or high frequency pulse generator), tungsten electrode and weldment do not contact ignition arc, no arc starter using contact arc (mostly used for site installation, especially high altitude installation), can be placed in copper or graphite on the groove of the weldment arc, but this method is more troublesome, less use, generally with welding wire gently stroke, Make the weldment and tungsten electrode directly short circuit and quickly disconnect to ignite the arc.

(4) Welding: After the arc ignition, it is necessary to preheat 3-5 seconds at the beginning of the weldment to form a melt pool and start wire feeding. When welding, the Angle of the welding wire gun should be suitable, and the welding wire should be evenly fed. The welding torch should move forward smoothly, and the left and right swing is slightly slower on two sides and slightly faster in the middle. It is necessary to pay close attention to the changes of the weld pool, and speed up the welding speed or re-adjust the welding current when the weld pool becomes larger, the weld seam becomes wider or the weld is concave. When the fusion pool is not good and the wire feed has the feeling of immobility, it is necessary to reduce the welding speed or increase the welding current, if it is the bottom welding eye attention should be focused on the two sides of the blunt edge of the groove, the corner of the eye is on the opposite side of the seam, and pay attention to the remaining high changes.

(5) Arc retracting: If the direct arc retracting is easy to produce shrinkage holes, if it is a torch with arc starter to intermittent arc retracting or adjust to the appropriate arc current slow arc retracting, if there is no arc starter welding machine slowly lead the arc to one side of the groove, do not produce shrinkage holes, such as shrinkage holes to be polished clean before welding.

If the arc is in the joint, should first be polished into a diagonal, after the joint is fully melted and then forward welding 10-20mm and then slowly arc, can not produce shrinkage holes. In the production, it is often seen that the joint is not polished into a bevel, and the welding time at the joint is directly extended, which is a very bad habit, so that the joint is prone to concave, the joint is not fused and the reverse disconnect affects the forming beauty, and the high alloy material is also easy to crack.
