Step one, learn to regulate the current
The problem of regulating current accompanies welders throughout their careers, and the decision to weld quality is one that beginners pay enough attention to.
But today it is not necessary to completely understand the current problem, as long as there is a preliminary understanding.

The method is to adjust the current according to the diameter of the solder and the electrode.
Generally speaking, the welding part is about 5mm or thicker plate, usually using diameter 2.5, 3.2, 4.0 electrode. The calculation method of current is: direct welding rod * 40 = welding current.

The second step, hand stability, control kung fu
Control is the key to the entire welding process. Basic control includes: hand stability, arc length height, the tilt of the electrode.
Take flat welding as an example, current 130, electrode 3.2.
The hand-held welding handle does not shake, and maintains a uniform speed in a straight line, in the process of rod transport, the arc length height is always maintained 2-3 mm.
The inclination of the electrode (that is, the Angle between the electrode and the weldment) is always maintained at 70-80 degrees.
This operation will result in a smooth, even and qualified weld.

The third step, start welding
A good beginning is half done, and take current 130, electrode 3.2 as an example.
When the hand welding handle is used to strike the welding part with the electrode to start the arc, pay attention to the Angle of the electrode to scratch the welding part, not perpendicular to the welding part, so as to avoid the welding rod sticking, so as to successfully start the arc.
In this way, all the problems behind the welding can be natural and logical.
With reference to the above three-step method, usually within ten minutes, even beginners can pick up the welding handle and have a good look.
