Electron beam welding

Electron beam welding

Electron beam welding refers to welding that uses an accelerated and focused electron beam to bombard the workpiece surface in a vacuum or non-vacuum environment, causing the workpiece to melt and achieve welding. Vacuum electron beam welding is the most widely used type of electron beam welding.Electron beam welding is widely used in many industries such as aerospace, nuclear energy, defense and military, automotive, and electrical instrumentation due to its advantages of not requiring welding rods, being less prone to oxidation, having good process repeatability, and having small thermal deformation.
