Copper

With the increasing scarcity of non-renewable resources and the rising proportion of electricity in the human energy mix, the market demand for copper and its high-quality, efficient welding technology is growing year by year. However, the high thermal conductivity of copper makes it difficult to concentrate the heat source energy of the electric arc during welding. Furthermore, the high reflectivity of copper to lasers has consistently presented challenges in applying lasers to copper welding, including low energy coupling efficiency and poor welding stability.
