Hanging spot welders, also known as hanging welders, are a type of resistance spot welding. Resistance welding involves applying pressure to electrodes after workpieces are assembled, utilizing the resistance heat generated by current flowing through the contact surfaces and adjacent areas of the joint. They are categorized as spot welding, projection welding, butt welding, and roll welding. Hanging spot welders are categorized by structure as either integrated or split. They are also categorized by power supply type as either industrial frequency AC or inverter DC.
The suspension welding machine consists of welding clamps, welding transformer, welding controller, water cooling system, pneumatic pressurization system, suspension device and other parts. According to the action of the welding arm, it can be divided into two types: X type and C type.
