The Robot Welding

The Robot Welding

Many manufacturing companies use collaborative robots. The operator physically maneuvers the robot's welding gun around the area to be welded, forming a certain trajectory. These trajectories are then stored for future use of the same type of welding tasks.

This relatively labor-intensive and talent-demanding software programming work has now undergone a transformation. New technologies that reduce manual drawing of welds, movement and process programming are beginning to appear on the market. This opens up a new industry field for robotic welding and provides new low-cost, high-efficiency solutions for multi-batch and small-batch manufacturing service providers.

Generally speaking, a robotic welding system consists of three main components:
Robot/Robotic Arm
Welding equipment such as welding guns
Welding software, such as programming software, sensors, control systems, etc.
